The last couple of months Labone staff have been busy preparing for our first National Manufacturing Day. We welcomed 50 students from Kirk Hallam Academy and they got to see first hand:-
Injection Moulding
Metal Pressing
Assembly
Pad Printing
Tool Making
QA Inspection
A big hit was watching our automation in action and testing skills by trying to score a goal with the robot!
Students also assembled their own Labone-branded phone holder key ring, getting a feel for the detail and care that goes into each of our components.
Judging by the feedback it was a great success!
